What’s the difference between Syndal’s Bridal Dry Cleaners & other cleaners?

The difference is our experience & knowledge. We are fully trained & are certified dry cleaners. Syndal’s does it all.

Many cleaners are simply a laundry service & lack the knowledge & expertise to clean all kinds of wedding gowns. They are not trained dry cleaners.

Always check another cleaner’s certification to make sure that they are fully trained & not just a laundry service. Our head dry cleaner is in close relationships with bridal designers & is always up to date wth the latest trends, fabrics, laces & beadwork.

Do I need to make a booking or appointment?

Simply pop into any of our stores during weekdays. We only run by appointment on Saturday. You’ll receive a face to face consultation with a fully trained staff member who will explain the entire process to you. You’ll also see the hundreds of gowns we are currently cleaning & how they sparkle after our magic touch.

When should I have my gown cleaned?

We recommend having your gown cleaned as soon as possible. The longer the stains are left on your gown the more difficult it can be to remove.

How long does it take to have a bridal gown cleaned?

We generally ask 4-6 weeks to hand clean a bridal gown. In peak season in can sometimes be slightly longer. All gowns are started immediately, but the entire hand cleaning process takes 4-6 weeks to complete.

Do you offer an express cleaning service?

Yes ! Our flagship Mt Waverley store can offer an express service in as little as 7-10 days depending on the gown. This service is at no extra charge.

Do you have a price range to hand clean a bridal gown?

Our prices start from $295. As you can imagine, every bridal gown is different depending on fabrics, stains, layers, beadwork etc. Once our friendly staff inspect your gown in store we can give you an exact quote.

Are you an environmentally friendly dry cleaner?

Yes we are. We use the most delicate cleaning fluids & choose environmentally friendly products to gently clean your gown.

Do you clean bridal shoes?

Yes we do! We clean all brands from Jimmy Choo, Harlo & Bared Footwear just to name a few. The price to clean a pair of shoes is $80. Take a look at our sister store @the_bridal_shoe_spa for the many shoes we’ve cleaned in the past. We service Australia wide.

Do you clean veils & accessories?

Yes we also clean veils, petticoats , overskirts , gloves etc & can preserve these items with your gown or separately in their own preservation box.

Do you do minor repairs?

Yes we do. We have a dressmaker on site to repair you minor tears or loose buttons.

Do you clean outside of Melbourne?
